Living Head (Andreas) was selected for the SPS Face2024 exhibition in the lovely Garrison Chapel, Chelsea Barracks, London.
This portrait of Andreas, cast in agar jelly and stock cubes, will keep growing mould for the duration of the exhibition. Eventually Andreas’ facial features will start disappearing under the thickening layer of bacterial growth, questioning whether it is still a portrait of Andreas or rather a new living entity with its own character and identity.
